Entrepreneurial Excellence Award Presented to Steve McShane, President and CEO of Midtronics, Inc. |  Midtronics is proud to announce that Steve McShane, President and CEO, has received the Entrepreneurial Excellence Lifetime Achievement Award from The Business Ledger. An award ceremony was held on September 27th, 2007 at the Oakbrook Terrace headquarters of the Chicago Automobile Trade Association.
This is the seventh year The Business Ledger has recognized and presented awards to entrepreneurs who have contributed to the economic strength of the West and Northwest suburbs of Chicago. McShane founded Midtronics, Inc. in 1984, focusing the company on developing and marketing innovative technologies for battery management. Under his leadership, Midtronics has successfully grown into a worldwide organization with 150 employees, offices on three continents, and a worldwide distribution network.
Upon learning of the award, McShane stated, “It is a great honor to receive this lifetime achievement award. The process has allowed me to reflect on the accomplishments of the fantastic team we have assembled over the years, and the contributions that our team has made to the industries we serve. I love what I do, seeing the growth of dynamic people, and working on innovative solutions that have positively affected industries and people around the world.”
